Family Holiday in South Brittany

last year we spent a week in August in Brittany (same weather as our Irish weather), we have booked again for june. Last year we went to carnac, benodet, concarneau and stayed in hotels. Does anybody have any suggestions for a family holiday that would have accommodation with at least 2 bedrooms - maybe in a hotel/village complex, pool, friends for our children, near a beach, restaurants etc. It would be great if we could meet up with other families in teh same accommodation.

Any suggestions would be helpful - thank you

Diane - last year was exceptional.. We were in Brittany and Normandy in July. The temperatures in 2007 were exactly half what they were at the same time in 2006!!

There were days, listening to the RTE News at 1 (at 2 in France) when the weather forecast was better and warmer for Limerick than it was for Brittany!!

We use Keycamp - which is not very luxurious but comfortable nevertheless and there are always other children for ours to engage with. We take a 3-bed 2-bathroom mobile home (we have a 15 year old, an 11 year old and a 7 year old) which is fine.

We always manage to meet others and most of the key-camp accommodation has excellent restaurants, all have pools.

It might be worth considering.
