What is happening on June 20?

I am trying to book a room for this night and nobody has rooms. Is there an event on this day?

I think around this time, in addition to it being high season, the Cannes Film Festival, plus the big car races in Monaco..

The Film Festival and Grand Prix are actually over by the end of May.

The Lions conference in Cannes will be finishing on 21st June, but that shouldn%26#39;t affect Nice hotel availability.

Just had a quick look and looks as if plenty of rooms are availabile on sites like www.booking.com.

Search under Nice ,France

Normally I think many hotels are fully booked for the Ironman Nice Triathlon (22nd of June)

many hotels request a 3 nights minimum stay for this event

but check directly with hotels because somes hotels don%26quot;t open sales on tour operator, they prefer to sell in direct

Thanks for the Ironman answer. So many wrong answers. I got a hotel, but all the big ones are booked on that one night. Everything else availalbe. It is quite weird.

Hey,that%26#39;s totally unnecessary and can%26#39;t be let go without a comment!!!

Check the postings properly before declaring them to be %26quot;wrong%26quot; .

The only misinformation was concerning the dates of the Film Festival and Grand Prix for which there seems to be an unreserved apology from the poster-see above

The rest of the information about rooms actually being available etc.is perfectly valid and there is some good advice about where to find them.

This forum is about being helpful to others not self importance
