Renault CV tours

I saw a website somewhere recently about CV2 tours in Paris. They were 40 to 60 min. tours, day or night and around 20 Euro a person. Does anyone know of the web site? Thanks.

This is propably the Citroën Deux Cheveux tour that you%26#39;re looking for--

4 ROUES SOUS 1 PARAPLUIE (4 Wheels Under 1 Umbrella)--

Though not the iconic 2 CV (look up the history of this quirky car%26#39;s development criteria for a real hoot)...there%26#39;s another company that offers tours and pick-up services in late %26#39;30s Citroën TRACTION AVANT sedans (the model with %26#39;suicide doors%26#39; and the twin inverted %26#39;..V%26#39;s..%26#39; on the grillwork).

CITROËN %26#39;..Traction Avant..%26#39; Tours---GIVERNY--

The Traction is not only a wonderful old design, it%26#39;s a milestone in car history - the first mass-production front-wheel drive !

In it%26#39;s %26#39;..prime..%26#39; Citroën offered some of the most inovative designs and engineering developments in the automotive industry (front-wheel drive, self-adjusting disc brakes, self-leveling, hydraulic suspension, uni-body construction, et al).....

But the clunky, ungainly (made the V W appear %26#39;elegant%26#39; by comparison), %26#39;only-a-severely-hyperopic-mother-could-love%26#39; Deux Cheveau really is a piece of engineering genius...born of practical necessity...interior headroom tall enough for a farmer to sit in while wearing a hat....large enough to fit two(2) bales of fodder for livestock....a suspension that would allow it to drive across a one hectare, plowed field with a dozen eggs on the back seat...and arrive on the other side with the eggs intact...removable interior seating so that a calf or other small livestock could be transported...and (necessarily) seats that could be completely removed so that the interior could be hosed-out and rinsed clean afterward...drive wheels that could be removed to double as a %26#39;..power take-off..%26#39; for farm machinery....usually it%26#39;s just an expression...but this car really was a piece of %26#39;..work..%26#39;.

KDKSAIL the above website is wonderful--I have written them to see how to take all the tours in one day--thanks. Have you eaten at the Moulin de Fourge restaurant??? All reminds me of an old movie

There is another 2CV tour company in Paris that seems to be fairly new. There was a TA member who seemed to post nothing else but recommendations about this new tour company a couple of months back.

No....but you%26#39;re certainly right...the setting looks idylic. If the food is only half as good as the setting appears...then this place is probably great. The trouble is that Le Moulin de Fourges is located in the town of Fourges, which is approx.12-15 km (8-10 miles) east of Giverny...and the only practical mode of transportation is going to be a taxi between it and Giverny and / or Vernon. If you were doing this day-trip by rental car...that would solve the transportation

Some time ago, someone mentioned that there was somewhere in Vernon, where one could rent motorsccoters...and I tried to locate such a rental livery...but came up empty with %26#39;..all the usual suspects..%26#39;. We thought that this might be a fun way to tour through and explore this region in summer...and perhaps lunch somewhere like the above...and perhaps ride the Eure tourist train.

I have eaten at the Moulin de Fourges, very beautiful, food is usually quite good, but make sure you have a reservation, and sometimes they take a certain time to serve you, except if you come as a group

I wanted to buy a 2CV, Mrs Wiz wouldnt let me. So I decided I would go for a Traction 11 - and I cant afford it.

i am amazed that 2CV tours are available - they used to be all the rage, but about 6 - 7 years ago there were none to be had.
