My husband and I have 2 days to fill in in between visiting Colmar and Paris. Any recommendations where to go? We really like small, romantic, picturesque towns. Also, any recommendations for inexpensive places to stay in those towns? Thank you!

You could head towards TROYES which is more or less en-route between Colmar and Paris. Yes I know a large town/city, but has an interesting Cathedral, Mediaeval houses, and some museums. East of this is the Park National Regional De La Foret D%26#39;Lorient, this has some large lakes and I suspect it would be quite picturesque for walking/driving etc. There are some small towns in that area eg Piney, Geraudot, Lusigny %26amp; Vendeuvre, any of which could be the sort of place you seek. Geraudot is in the centre of the Foret and lakes area.
