Museum Pass

I will be arriving in Paris early in the morning on a Friday. I am trying to figure out if it would be good to get the two day museum pass on Friday or Saturday. I know it has to be two consecutive days. What would you recommend, Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun. I am also planning on doing Versaille. Any comments would be appreciated.

It seems like a good deal to me if you are hitting at least a few museums. Check out the website for museum pass. They list the entry fees to the museum, so you can check out the ones you are planning to visit and quickly figure out if it is worth it. I think you can use it for part of the cost of Versaille.

You can buy it anytime (I recommend upon arrival at the airport is most convenient), it%26#39;s just when you decide to activate it (sign it and use it for the first time). Remember that the day you activate it counts as a full day, so even if you first use it Friday night it%26#39;s only good until Saturday night (for the 2 day).

Look at the list of museums it covers and figure out which you can schedule when (many close Tuesday, some Monday, check listings). If you can fit all you want to see in one day, you could use the 2nd for Versailles. If you want to save your museum pass for museums in Paris, I would recommend getting the Forfait Loisirs Chateau Versailles (one day pass with audioguide and train/metro RT transport) separately.
