I am going to be married in August 2008. We just booked our flight into and out of Paris. We have 8 nights to spend to France and have not decided what we will be doing. We have both been to Paris before, but have not explored the rest of France.
We have three criteria for our honeymoon...
1) Awesome Food
2) Awesome wine/champagne.
3) Lots of items #1 and #2.
We love cute, walkable cities/towns with lots to do/see. Do not need a very active night life.

Burgundy would certainly fit the bill, and if you end your trip in Dijon, the early train to CDG arrives at 8:20 AM, a little later on weekends. This is a timesaver on a short trip, not having to go back to Paris.
Agree on #3...LOL.
