I am a grandmother visiting Paris with my 2 grandaughters. We stayed at studio 22 rue St Severin last week, and it saved my trip! Thanks God!
Prior to moving there, I was stuck in an apartment in the 2nd district (red district) around prostitues, even during the day!
I was so gratful for the 22 St Severin, it was a perfect accomodation, my grandaughters loved the neighborood, and we have pictures of tourists photographing us at the window, the building is famous as mentioned in every travel book!

Meli,
What was the exact address of that first apartment you stayed at?

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;the building is famous as mentioned in every travel book!%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;
Apart from the fact that the building itself evidently dates back to the 17th century (not an especially significant distinction in Paris...with buildings dating back as far as the 12th %26amp; 13th centuries) and the neighborhood itself is %26#39;ancient%26#39; (dating back to the Parisii..so I suppose in all of those centuries, something significant must have occured??) what makes #22 %26quot;..famous..%26quot; ??
