Flight arrive in Nice but we have to go to Cannes

What should we do since flight arrives in Nice at 10:00 a.m. but hotel in Cannes is not ready until 2-3:00 so is there some means of transportation that will make a possible stop at the castle in Nice or the like for a reasonable rate? May not get back to Nice so wanted not to waste the time but at least see something while we have three to four hours before check in time in Cannes.

Also, is there any good internet cafe%26#39;s near this hotel in Cannes Hotel PLM, 3 Rue Hoche

Is this near the central area of Cannes? Any breakfast places good near this hotel as well?

Four hours in Nice gives you enough time to explore a little. Climb the Colline du Chateau for fine views over the city, and wander the lanes of old Nice, take in the market Cours Saleya and the new square Place Massena, then head off up tp the main station where you can catch a train direct to Cannes.

Internet cafes are everywhere of course

Several internet cafes near the PLM. One opposite the rail station and a couple of others in the side streets between the rail station and the rue d%26#39;Antibes (main shopping street). They are easy to spot, just ask them for an english keyboard.

The PLM is very well situated , you%26#39;re right in the centre close to everything. Take a look at the interactive map of Cannes at www.cannes.fr/en. This will show you where rue Hoche is. You%26#39;ll also see what the weather forecast is.

Great area for breakfast cafes too. Turn left as you come out of the hotel, and walk along rue Hoche towards the Gambetta market. In less than 2 minutes you will be spoilt for choice. Most cafes do a breakfast of coffee, fruit juice, croissant and bread with jam for around 5 to 6 euros. Express breakfasts (expresso coffee and a mini croissant) start around 2 euros. They will also do cooked breakfasts if you want them.

Lots of bakers/cafes round there in the side streets and round the Gambetta market square itself too
