Your transfer connection choices from BEAUVAIS to LILLE run the gamut from terrible to horrible...inconvenient is the only aspect of the transfer that is assured.

There will be no trains from the BEAUVAIS SNCF station at the hour of your arrival at BVA.

Pretty much all of the rail connections between BEAUVAIS and LILLE (Flandres or Europe) require that you come into PARIS-Gare du Nord first...and then start again from PARIS-Gare du Nord back north to LILLE. No matter how you do it...it stinks.

Your best bet may be to find a hotel in Beauvais for the night and begin again the following morning....which sort of blows any airfare saving you may have derived.

If your flight arrived a bit earlier, there is a possibility of taking the BVA shuttle into Paris at Porte Maillot, making your way from Porte Maillot via #1 Metro to CHATELET...then making the correspondance from the Chatelet Metro portion of the large station complex to the CHATELET-Les HALLES RER portion of the complex and taking the RER %26#39;B-3%26#39; ligne train to the end-of-the-line at AEROPORT CDG2 TGV...then coming up to the SNCF/TGV portion of the station complex and trying to catch the late TGV from CDG (last train 23:10) to LILLE-Europe (00:01)....but even then...ALL of the %26#39;gods-of-travel%26#39; (and their pets) would have to smile on your efforts.

KDK,

How did you forget about just renting a car and driving it? Drop off in the same country doesn%26#39;t entail extortional dropoff fees.

I was looking for public transaportation options....but frankly....your suggestion of a rental car from BVA (IF there is a rental agency still open at that hour of the night) may be the ONLY way this traveler makes their 9:00 AM meeting in Villeneuve-d%26#39;Ascq, (approx. 200 km away...2-2 1/2 hr. drive??) the following morning....most likely arriving at their business meeting looking and feeling a bit like a basket of soiled laundry.

In practical terms, the best solution is to either re-schedule the meeting to a later time or date...or re-book the flight itinerary through CDG and take a TGV train directly to LILLE from the CDG2 TGV station.

But as an idle curiousity, I checked the LILLE airport web site and there is a Polish LCC--CENTRAL WING--that offers limited (Tues %26amp; Sat only) direct service from Warsaw to Lille.

many many thanks for your advices. it really stinks to get where I want in time I have...

the truth is I cannot re-schedule my meeting so I%26#39;ll have to find a way to get there on time... possibly my boss will have to agree to pay a bit more for a bit more expensive flight...

once again many many thanks for your help

It might be useful if you provided some detail as to your actual travel itinerary. As an example, which city will your travel originate from? Is there some overwhelming reason why an evening flight is required?...rather than an earlier flight? The only flights arriving at BVA around 21:00 are Ryan Air from Dublin or Shannon. None of the Central Wings flights from Polish cities arrive that late.

|||

I%26#39;ll be travelling from Warsaw and the only flight I found which suits the date, is with wizzair airlines. the plane should be landing in Paris Beauvais at 20.25 on March 17th

I also thought about taing flight to Brussels - Charllroi and than maybe TGV to Lille? but still flights to Brussels are late evening on 17th.

|||

I t could work but... the question will be how far is from Cherleroi airport to Brussels Toute Gare Belge, where Eurostar train%26#39;s station is?

|||

Getting the shuttle bus from Beauvais to Paris Porte Maillot could be good. Unfortunately the latest train departs GARE DU NORD at 10.58pm, ie you won%26#39;t have time to arrive there.

Renting a car is the best option. Yes car rental wil be opened late, especially if you booked.

Renting a private car %26amp; driver is an option, but will cost a lot more. You could look on www.parisairportlimousines.com for companies
