Pont Neuf to the Eiffel Tower

Hi

I promise this is the last question from me on Paris for the night :)

After the LES VEDETTES DU PONT –NEUF BOATS we would like to head up to the Eiffel Tower.

What is the closest Metro station to the Du Pont Neuf Boats? Do we need to cross the bridge and head back in the direction of the Louvre to catch the nearest Metro?

Again, everyones responses have been wonderful and greatly appreciated!!!

or

Metro Line 1 Louvre-Rivoli to Concorde, then change to Metro Line 8 Ecole Militaire.
