santa giulia, corsica

HELP I have just booked a 2 week holiday for myself and my husband at the Castell Verde Studios in Santa Giulia (from 8th June) but everybody tells me it is very very expensive to eat and drink there? Can anyone give me any information on places to go, restaurants etc in this resort and any other info that may be helpful to first timers in Corsica.

Santa Guilia is a very small resort so I doubt if you will have a lot of choice there. I have never eaten there, but there is a restaurant on the beach, which probably has reasonable snacks.

However, the good news is that, assuming you will have a car, Santa Guilia is just about half way between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio. Both these very attractive towns have loads of restaurants and cafes of all types so you will be sure to find somewhere to suit. Also look out for the countryside homely auberge-type places you will see around. They are brilliant value for money.

You can also eat cheaply by catering for yourself - French style supermarkets are common and picnic type products very reasonable in price. You can%26#39;t do much better than Corican charcuterie, freshly baked bread, fresh salad and Corsican beeer!
