My husband and I are going to spend about 10 days in France in the 2nd half of April. We will do a few days in Paris, but beyond that we are not sure where to go.
We enjoy good food, scenic views (oceans, lakes or mountains), and cute/beautiful architecture. We are NOT museum people. We usually just roam around the city or town we are visiting.
We would like to go to the South of France for some of the time, but we are not sure what are the best cities.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some places to start (a goList of mine):

Of course, don%26#39;t limit yourself to those places. It all depends on how much time you have left after visiting Paris. The food is always good in the South - the challenge lies in finding appropriately priced fare among restaurants who add the %26quot;tourist surplus.%26quot;
The South has no shortage of beautiful architecture and tiny towns that begged to be roamed. Landscapes vary from mountains (Montagne Sainte Victoire, Mont Ventoux) to canyons such as Gorges du Verdun), rivers (Durance, Rhône), hills in the Lubéron...even an estuary - namely the Camargue.
I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll find something that appeals to you.
