My friend and I are thinking of booking a ski trip for a week at the end of Feb. We like green and blue runs and the occasional red! In our early 50%26#39;s so don%26#39;t want lots of young school kids/teenagers. Not too many clubs either. Have been to Courchevel a few times so would know the area bu it is rather expensive. Any suggestions for other places which might suit us would be most welcome and any tips on companies or getting good deals would be helpful too.
Don%26#39;t really mind which country we go to - as long as there will be some soft snow to fall on!
Thanks so much.

The end of February is still the French holidays so if you want to avoid kids do not go to France then. The two weeks 8th and 15th March are quite quiet in the way of school holidays so might be a better options for you. Also the prices go down then as well.

Unfortunately, due to work commitments, we have to go between 23 Feb and 7th March. We don%26#39;t have to go to France (it%26#39;s just that I have always gone there!) - where else would be better at that time in Europe?
Thanks for any help.

Hi there - our extended family (ages ranging from 65 to 5) have just returned from a week at Courchevel and had a FABULOUS time. We stayed at 1650 which is less snobby/expensive than 1850, but still has great snow at your doorstep. We travelled with Ski Olympic and stayed at Chalet Mors for about 500pds each - including coach from UK to France, accommodation %26amp; half bd. The Chalet is staffed and they REALLY REALLY take care of you. Google skiolympic for the exact name of their website. And you%26#39;ll see they do last minute deals too, which could be worth hanging out for. The French holidays shouldn%26#39;t boost their bookings too much as the chalet girls said clients are almost all UK-based.
The ski area is extensive - we skied 8 days and I still didn%26#39;t get to do all the runs, with plenty of well-groomed easier runs. We paid for a 3 valley pass, but didn%26#39;t really need it. The other one you could consider is Tignes, which I heard a lot of my fellow skiers recommending. Back in New Zealand now, and I really envy you!!
