we are arriving from canada after an over night trip. being jet lagged will not exect too much out of us on day 1. am planning on staying in paris for 4 days b4 heading out into the rest of the country.
this gives us 1 week. if you have a favorite not to miss regions or sites please let me know
am thinking of spending time around nice %26amp; st. malo - how much time should i plan for either of these areas
also wondering if we should get a 4 day saverpass with the rail or a train/car package.

St Malo is on the opposite side of Nice. So you have to choose one or the other. For instance, you can take the TGV from Paris to Nantes, then rent a car, go up to La Baule, then the coastal road to Britany, then St Malo, Cancale, Mt St Michel, then back to Nantes and again TGV to Paris. You can buy your train tickets in advance on www.voyagesncf. fr and also rent a car with them ...During your trip you will have a great choice of nice hotels or B%26amp;B ...
