Two suggestions in Nice:-
La Maison de Marie off Rue Massena.
Chez Juliette in the Old Town.
Both serve good food and are nice venues.
If you can sit outside by the fountain at
LMDM so much the better. It%26#39;s down a quiet alley
off the pedestrian zone.
Maybe not exactly %26quot;romantic%26quot;, but my husband and I also like La Coupole in ther Rue de France. Great food, good atmosphere, reasonable prices
and you can eat out on the street or inside.

The restaurant of %26quot;La Chèvre d%26#39;Or%26quot; in Eze or %26quot;Le Chateau Eza%26quot;.

Ah, forgot!!! %26quot;La Vignette Haute%26quot; in Auribeau sur Siagne. Medieval style, cosy, great food, great wine selection, an open fire place, veeeery romantic... Ask to have a table near the stable where you can watch the rabbits, the donkey ...etc from the big window!

Thanks so much everyone :-)

From April to September try Tétou in Golfe Juan: it%26#39;s THE place to go for the famous Bouillabaise fish-soup (which is an entire meal), their other speciality being langoustes. It%26#39;s directly by the beach and the atmosphere is rather informal. Reserve well in advance and bring plenty of cash (at least 150,- per head, no credit cards).
