Hello,
For our honeymoon, we will be in Paris for 3 days in September, and then headed to the Tuscany area for a week. We were hoping to make a stop in between the two for a couple of days. We will be traveling by train, so it would need to be somewhere we didn%26#39;t need a car. Our budget is $250/night for a hotel. We were thinking about Nice, but are not sure yet. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks so much!

why don%26#39;t you stop at Cinque Terre : www.cinqueterreonline.com
you can take at flight from Paris to Nice with Easy Jet, then take the train cinque terre, using the italian train website : www.trenitalia.com

Thank you so much! I researched it, and I think we have decided on Vernazza, and are going to try to get a room at La Mala. The area looks perfect! I think we will have just enough time to do some hiking around the area.
Thanks again!

great idea, Cinque terre is an unspoiled area, classified at the Unesco world heritage, you%26#39;ll appreciate, have a nice trip and enjoy your honey moon ...

I agree with others that Cinque Terre is a better area that would be cheaper, and less crowded than Nice. (although don%26#39;t expect it to be uncrowded either, the word is out...)
But particular for train travel, consider Geneva. Maybe not cheap, but romantic for a honeymoon, and very convenient by train.

Well we have a Eurail pass %26amp; will be taking an overnight train from Paris...so scenery isn%26#39;t much of an option, unfortunately :) Or I would consider other routes from Paris. Right now I have us going to Genova, then to La Spezia to Vernazza....
