Buses on a Sunday

We are arriving in Ajaccio on a Sunday morning in July and need to get to Zonza for that night.

We had read that there was a bus going this route for the summer months in 2007 at 3pm from a website but now we have been told by the travel agent that there is no bus. Does anyone know if this bus will run? Otherwise we need to pay a hefty private transfer.

It appears that at the moment at least no buses run to Zonza on Sundays. You can get public transport timetables on

www.corsicabus.org

I have to say though that it is a strange thing to do - go to Zonza without yoyur own transport. Have you a particular objection to hiring a car?

Thanks for your reply. We cannot hire a car as we intend back most of the way to Ajaccio from hotel to hotel. We might try and find out if they know of any others arriving in the same way so we can share the cost of a transfer. Thanks again.

Last year there was definitely a bus service from Ajaccio to Zonza on Sundays in July and August and it%26#39;s more than likely that the same service will operate in 2008.
