CDG to 7th District

We will be flying into CDG and have rented an apt in the 7th district. Does anyone know the best way and/or cheapest way to get to our apt?

A simple SEARCH of this TA forum, using %26#39;..CDG to 7th..%26#39; gets you this---

containing almost an infinite number of permutations on the basic theme.

Public transportation options can be described given the address and ther number of people.

The least expensive way for sure would be to use the RER from CDG and then transfer to the Metro. The only issues here are distance from the Metro station to your apt and going up %26amp; down all those Metro steps with your Luggage ( can be a Real Pain )

Another option is a shuttle. I used Golden Air last year to Hotel Muguet in the 7th with no problems.

In September it was 58 euros from CDG to 7eme by taxi for 4 persons (58 Total) a shuttle is approx 17 to 20 euros each and Rer/ Metro approx 8 euros ...if there are three or more in your party take a taxi...also at CDG you can get a taxi that takes 4 or more persons...most ordinary taxis take 3 persons....depending upon the time of day that you arrive the time of taxi travel can be mush faster then RER metro...however at rush Hour Paris traffic rivlas NYC....good luck...have fun...also consider carrying your luggage on the RER Metro versus the trunk of a Taxi...be wary of being approached at luggage pickup by non-official taxi drivers as they always try to charge much more..in September we were approached by 2 drivers who offered to take us to our hotel for a %26quot;bargain%26quot; 90 euro rate...

I took the RER and Metro and it only cost me 8,20E total.

It was very easy as long as you don%26#39;t have alot of luggage (I just had 1 backpack and a not-too heavy suitcase with wheels.)

If you%26#39;re strong enough, it shouldn%26#39;t be a problem. There are escalators at Chatelet (the major transfer hub) however, individual metros vary with the number of steps.
