Hello
We are arriving at CDG on Sunday. Our hotel is Auteuil Tour Eiffel on Rue Felicien David.
Can someone please advise on the best route to get there.
I have 2 options written down but am unsure which is better/easier with regard to ticketing.
1 - From CDG take RER line B to St Michel then take metro to Mirabeau.
In this case do we need to get a separate ticket from CDG to St Michel then use a Paris Visite or a ticket from a carnet for the metro section?
2 - From CDG take RER line B to St Michel then take RER line C to Kennedy Radio France.
In this case will we just require the 1 RER ticket?
Also - we are in Paris from the Sunday afternoon and leaving on Wednesday morning. Is it best for us to get a 3 day Paris Visite or get a carnet?
Thanks in advance

the RER ticket in from CDG transfers to the metro for that single trip -- and the same works in reverse, you can buy a ticket at a metro station that will see you on the RER out to CDG --- so if the metro from st. michel is more direct or convenient you can use that without extra cost of transfer or another ticket
I just get carnets unless I am staying on the outskirts e.g. when we spent a month in the 20th we got carte orange -- same this summer when we spent a week in Montmartre -- but if nearer the center we don%26#39;t use the metro much and just buy a carnet and split it and use as needed -- for so little time there, I bet a carnet would be more than enough for a couple
Paris is best enjoyed on foot above ground (except for long distances when tired) even at night -- a long stroll down the Seine is a breathtaking experience to be savored if you can manage it
