Apartments in Nice

Hi ,

8 of us are planning to go to Nice for a weekend in May 2008. We thought it would be a good idea to get a few apartments but I cant seem to find any near Promanade des ingles.

Does anyone know of any ?

Or maybe a nice hotel in the area that wont break the bank....?

Any suggestions welcome

Most apartments are rented by the week.

What%26#39;s your price range for a hotel per room? Hotels along the Promenade des Anglais can be a bit pricey, but the Mercure Marché des Fleurs might work for you. Check it out on the accorhotels.com web site.

Oops--make that the Marché aux Fleurs. I think.

Take a look at www.nicepebbles.com they may be able to hep.

|||

you can check a residence hotel

www.sejoursdusud.com or citadines or citea

We always use Riviera-Rentals. They have at least 2 apartments in Rue de France, one block back from the pedestrian zone. May not rent just for the weekend, but worth a try. Think they have a few near the prom actually - avenue de la Suede/rue Meyerbeer etc.

villanao.co.uk/nice/seaside_apartments_refHD…

we are booking through this site, direct with the owner. The apartment is amazingly cheaper than other sites I%26#39;ve researched.....a bit concerned but can%26#39;t find a catch.

good luck

|||

Catch could be that it%26#39;s a 21m2 studio on the 6th floor with no lift !!

|||

Ha....you are right, there%26#39;s sure to be a catch, though your suggestion is not the one...isn%26#39;t life exciting...

There are many others listed at villanao%26#39;s site, and all seem better prices than others I%26#39;ve checked out, presumably because you are dealing directly with the owners %26amp; cutting out the middle-man.
