I will be visiting paris this summer with my boyfriend for the first time. we%26#39;re on a very tight budget and luckily I have a relative to stay with during our visit. however, since we are staying with someone the whole time, what are some suggestions on where to go for some...privacy? I mean, it%26#39;s PARIS, and it%26#39;s our first vacation together. I%26#39;ve heard of hourly hotels but I believe those are only in Japan. We can%26#39;t really afford a regular hotel, but if it comes down to it, we might book one night in one. any suggestions on what we can do about getting in some time alone together? I know this is an odd question, but we were realizing this earlier today. we wouldn%26#39;t even be going on this trip if I didn%26#39;t have someone to stay with.

Do you have a bedroom or are you on the living room couch? If you have a bedroom,, learn to enjoy %26quot;quiet s8x%26quot; . Millions of young parents learn it , so will you, practice now. LOL .
You will survive , your other option is to push your pennies together and treat yourselves to one special night at a hotel. Doesn%26#39;t have to be fancy, just 80 -90 euros , have a nice cheap dinner( a picnic would be wonderful and cheap) out, a walk along the Seine then back to the room for your romp.
Tell your relative it is a special treat you have planned for a romantic night out. If they are French they will understand.

yeah, i am not too worried about what they think, they aren%26#39;t that much older than us and they were born and raised in paris. they do have a young child though, and we will be staying in the living room. we%26#39;ll probably have to look for a cheap room for one night or something...

Well yes, if you are in the living room, and there is a child who could wander in, I think you are wise to save and splurge on one night at a hotel.
Its only one night and really between now and summer you cna easily save for it, just 5 bucks a week in a jar will get you a room for a night( figuring 25 wks x 5 = $125 = 85 euros, see easy,, LOL, just skip the Starbucks twice a week.
