Nice Carnival

Hi

Will be in Nice for the carnival this year and having read the forum am now booking seats for the Bataille de Fleurs in the afternoon of the 23 Feb.

Looking at the programme there is a Corso Illumine in the evening of Saturday 23 Feb at 9.00. There is another on the Tuesday 26 Feb at 9.00. Will one be better than the other? Just thinking more people might be out on a Saturday. Also am I right in thinking the Corso Carnavalesque is the same as the Corso Illumine just in the afternoon?

I know people have stated that it is not necessary to buy tickets for the Corso Illumine but do you get a better view?

Many thanks for answers receieved

if you buy a ticket for a Corso Carnavalesque or illumine, you will be in the main place.

without ticket, that will be in a street with poor people ::)) less view, less fiesta...

after that%26#39;s depend if you want to pay more (20 or 25 euros):

good view, relax but less fiesta

exactly, corso illuminé, it%26#39;s the night with lights... it%26#39;s better than the afternoon
