Etap Hotel near city centre?

I%26#39;m looking at staying in one of the Etap hotels. Wondering how far out they are from the city centre? Have stayed in Etaps before and they always seem to be on the outskirts..if this is the case is it easy to get in to the city centre?

Yes, they are on the outskirts by the %26#39;peripherique%26#39; (ring road). All you can do is go to the website, get all the locations and compare to a Paris metro/RER map....Or - read any reviews here on Etap, then see if any one location stands out.

IBIS hotels on the outskirts often have low rates as well.

But it%26#39;s also possible to get a fairly cheap room in central Paris if you don%26#39;t mind pretty basic accomodations.
