Need some help short surfing trip in April

Hey All

We are planning a short 5 day trip to the Biarritz and Hossegor regions to do some surfing. We are travelling from some spring snowboarding in the alps and realise it might be a bit chilly but wanted to make the most of the time in France.

We were leaning towards heading to Vieux Boucau les Bains however does anyone have suggestions for locations to spend 5 days near the beach?

Any accomodation recommendations would be cool too.

We have heard that the locals can be a bit agressive towards us travellers so we wish to try and avoid locations with renoun agressiveness however still want good waves.

Is it easy to hire a board and a wetsuit? I%26#39;ll be lugging my snowboards around and luggage and didnt fancy taking even one board across.

I am very new to this area and would appreciate any comments.

I have never heard of any aggressiveness whatsoever, quite the opposite in fact. Or do you mean aggressiveness within the surfing community?

was in Biarritz in September

Hossegor and Biarritz main beach are great for surfing

there are places to hire boards and suits from too and everyone is really friendly and non agressive!
