What is the quickest (and ideally cheapest) way to get from Bourg Saint Maurice to central London on a Sunday night or Monday morning?
I plan to catch the overnight Eurostar from St Pancreas to Bourg Saint Maurice leaving on Friday night (I figure compared with catching a plane, this method will avoid the hassle of waiting/checking in at the airport and also save paying for an additional night of accommodation). However, there doesn%26#39;t appear to be any Eurostar train heading back to London on the Sunday night. I don%26#39;t have any annual leave left so taking off days from work isn%26#39;t an option!

Yeah, the snowtrain Eurostars only go back on Saturdays.
You can get a sleeper from Bourg St Maurice that should leave about 8pm - this then gets you to Paris early morning whereupon you can taxi or metro to the Gare de Nord and pick up the Eurostar again - gets you into London about 9.30/10 as I remember. If you check out http://www.seat61.com/France.htm#Alps it%26#39;s a useful resource for trains anywhere.
If you book in advance a return via this method can be as cheap as £110 midweek - Sunday at short notice will be expensive, but then so will transfers plus planes.
